Citizens and employees in Garland, Texas are invited to develop leadership skills and learn more about the Garland community by participating in Leadership Garland’s 33rd class.
Leadership Garland was founded in 1979 and is one of the longest-running leadership programs in the state of Texas. For more than 30 years, Leadership Garland has provided top-of-the-line corporate leadership training – motivating and encouraging up-and-coming civic leaders and developing their personal leadership characteristics and skills.
Themed outings like Education Day, State Government Day, and many more inspire active participation while opening the doors of understanding for community needs and unique successes. Though the program evolves each year, the mission remains consistent: encourage graduates to contribute to Garland’s growth and future.
"Attending this class provided benefits I could not have imagined in the beginning. I have gone from believing that nothing I do can change the status quo to knowing that I have tremendous influence on what happens in this community."
