The Leadership Garland Alumni Organization was officially founded in the fall of 2002 following the spring graduation of Class 21. Although many LG alumni had devoted time and efforts to sustaining the Leadership Garland program through participation on the Steering Committee, Prayer Breakfast Committee, or as Class Advisors, prior to that time, there was not an organized program offering continued personal, professional, and civic growth in the community. As the organization has grown and gained momentum, so has the scope of the group. Through its projects and programs, the LG alumni reach out to one another and reach out to the community in many ways.
