Chamber Members Invited to Participate in Operation Thank You
Operation Thank You is one week set aside each year for the Garland Chamber of Commerce to recognize its members for their continued involvement with the organization and their dedication to the Garland community as a whole. In preparation for this annual week of gratitude, the Chamber staff puts together thank you packets for each member to be delivered by Chamber member volunteers during the designated week, Feb. 8 through 12.
The Chamber is now recruiting Chamber-member volunteers to help personally deliver these pre-prepared packets. This is a great opportunity for local professionals to stop in and thank our local businesses for their support of the Chamber. This week-long event, concludes with a volunteer lunch celebration on Friday, Feb. 12, location to be announced. Packets to be delivered include a thank you letter from the Chamber CEO, the 2016 Garland Guide, a personalized new membership plaque insert and a 2016 wall calendar that includes great photos of the Garland community and pre-printed Chamber events throughout the year.
The Chamber has a goal of recruiting 50 volunteers to visit a minimum of 10 businesses each. The 10 visits to the businesses must be completed by the end of that week. If you are interested in participating and would like to deliver to a specific area of Garland, a specific industry or locations near your business, contact Alexander Helgar and he will be happy to prepare a customized group for you. Volunteers participating in Operation Thank You are also welcome to put their own business information in the packets to those businesses they visit.
Can we count on you? If so, please contact Alexander Helgar at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 469-326-7454.All News
