Micropac Industries, Inc. Celebrates 50 Years
The Garland Chamber of Commerce is proud to congratulate one of its prestigious manufacturers as they celebrate 50 years in business.
Founded in 1963, Micropac Industries, Inc. is a diversified, high technology company located in Garland, Texas, specializing in high reliability microcircuit multi-chip modules, Hall Effect devices and optoelectronic components/assemblies. Micropac develops and manufactures complete custom designs to meet specific customer applications and requirements and the company’s products are in use worldwide in a wide variety of military, aerospace, space, medical and industrial applications.
Micropac Industries, Inc. is a pillar in the Garland community, largely due to the engagement of CEO and President, Mark King. King serves on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce, acting as Chairman in 2009 and 2012, and is the Chairman of the Board for Baylor Medical Center at Garland. King’s past and present service with local organizations includes Garland Summer Musicals, the BEST Education Foundation and the Dallas County Manufacturers’ Association. King’s dedication to leadership and heart for service is evident in his own company’s success and through his valued contributions outside the walls of Micropac. His strategy and focus in conjunction with a great leadership team and committed workforce will undoubtedly lead the company to many more years of success.
