Although 97% of internet users are now looking online to find local products and services, 58% of American businesses still don't have a website. Through increased participation in the Get Your Business Online program, Mayor Athas hopes to close that gap and he's engaged the Garland Chamber of Commerce to help spread the word to the business community.
Get Your Business Online provides small business owners with a custom domain name, web hosting and access to education resources -- all free for one year. Since its debut in 2011, the program has helped more than 135,000 businesses successfully get online and start growing.
Interested business owners can visit www.gybo.com for further information on the program.
The Chamber offers Notary Services, FREE of charge to its members. There is a $6.00 cost, per page for non-members. A Notary Public is a public servant appointed by state government to witness the signing of important documents and administer oaths. You must present a current identification document or card with a photograph, physical description and signature to have a document notarized. Please contact the Chamber at (972) 272-7551 for notary hours.
