Youth Leadership Garland is for sophomores who want to learn to be effective leaders. You don’t have to be president of your class or captain of a sports team. If you have potential and a desire to learn more about leadership and leadership opportunities, you could be a part of Youth Leadership Garland.
The purpose of Youth Leadership Garland is to train students in leadership techniques and community awareness so that they may become familiar with current issues, community resources, opportunities and other factors influencing the direction of Garland’s future. Participation in the program will help students to be prepared to make a positive impact on the quality of life in their communities.
