Leadership Academy

UPDATES: Program days will be postponed for a later date.
Launched in 2013, the DCMA Leadership Academy is a training course created in partnership with Richland College, Garland Campus. The goal of this innovative program is to develop advanced leadership skills for area manufacturing employees in supervisory roles. Conducted twice each year in a three-module course with targeted curriculum, participants learn to apply skills in goal setting, communication, change and conflict management and more. Any DCMA-member company is eligible enroll one or more participants. 

Manufacturing Day

In honor of National Manufacturing Day, annually on the first Friday of October, the Garland Chamber of Commerce and Dallas County Manufacturers' Association host an Appreciation Breakfast recognizing the significance of manufacturing in the global economy and expressing our gratitude for the positive impact of the industry in Garland, Texas. Both organizations look forward to the opportunity to welcome local manufacturers and celebrate their contributions and achievements.
