$600 – Community

Community is our entry level membership that fits most of our small business and non-profit needs. It will give you access to all of our events and exposure, in addition to being able to get connected in our community. You will find the benefits of the Community Level below.

  • Length of Membership

    Chamber membership is valid for 12 months from the joining date.

  • Advocacy

    The Chamber staff has worked to build relationships since 1895 so its staff can effectively assist you with various business needs and issues. The Chamber has established relationships with government, elected officials, and city departments, including, but not limited to transportation, GP&L, permits, etc. When a business doesn’t know who to talk to for the answers it needs, the Chamber can help.

  • Inclusion in The Garland Guide Business Directory

    The Garland Guide is an annual publication that highlights what is new in business, education, and local government. As a member of the Garland Chamber, your business contact information will be listed in the business directory. Advertising in The Garland Guide is an exclusive benefit of your membership.

  • Website Advertising (2 Months)

    Each new Community member receives two complimentary months of advertising on garlandchamber.com upon joining. Members must submit a logo or photo, a website link and a brief sentence about the company to appear as a "Featured Member" ad that will be rotated throughout the site. One time use.

  • Online Event Calendar Posting

    Chamber members at any level are welcome to send, by email, their upcoming events for free posting on the Garland Chamber website. Email your upcoming events to Aniya Gill.

  • Use of Chamber Logo on Marketing Materials

    Chamber members at any level are granted permission to use the Garland Chamber of Commerce logo on business marketing materials, including newsletters, email communications, flyers and others. Contact the Chamber directly to request the necessary files.

  • Referral Services

    The Chamber serves as an extended marketing team for member businesses. The Chamber staff only refers member companies when there is an inquiry or request for information on products, services or vendors.

  • Small Business Development Center Counseling

    The SBDC Counselor provides information and resources in the following areas: Marketing/Advertising, Business Planning, Financial Analysis, Market Research, Manufacturing Issues, Government Contracting, SBA Loans, Tax Information, Entrepreneurship, and Minority/Women’s Business Issues. These services are free of charge and confidential. Within 30 days of joining the Chamber, all new members must schedule a business success planning meeting that will include a Chamber staff member and the SBDC counselor. During this meeting, the counselor and staff member will work with the member to establish a plan that will utilize all Chamber resources to get the most value from membership, ultimately resulting in quantifiable measures of success.

    All members are entitled to one free membership list in Excel format each year by request. These list may be used to identify new businesses and to connect with them or to send event invitations.

  • Meeting Facilities 1x/Month

    The Chamber is pleased to offer use of the Chamber building meeting room to Premium Members up to three times per month. Meeting space can be used for one-on-one meetings, business/staff meetings, training seminars or luncheons. The meeting room accommodates up to 12 people comfortably. Call for availability.

  • Website Advertising (4 Months)

    Each new Premium member receives four complimentary months of advertising on garlandchamber.com upon joining. Members must submit a logo or photo, a website link and a brief sentence about the company to appear as a "Featured Member" ad that will be rotated throughout the site. One time use.

  • Letter of Introduction to 15 Companies on Chamber Letterhead

    Once a year, Premium Members have the opportunity to select 15 companies with whom they would like to connect. Members work with the Chamber staff to draft a letter, which is placed on Chamber letterhead and mailed to selected contacts.

  • Free Membership List, Manufacturing Directory, and Business List

    Premium Members receive membership lists, monthly new business lists and one free Manufacturers’ Directory upon request and at no additional cost. These lists will be emailed in Excel format. Contact the Chamber periodically for updated lists.

  • Attending Manufacturing Tours & Manufacturing Day

    Premium Members attend exclusive manufacturing tours throughout the year, in addition to access to our Annual Manufacturing Day.

  • Additional Exposure

    Premium Members may provide a flyer or brochure to be included in all new member and relocation packets.

      Each Chamber member receives one free luncheon upon joining. This luncheon invitation must be redeemed within 120 days of becoming a member. Chamber luncheons host a variety of speakers, from social media experts to community leaders. The event allows professionals from various business fields an opportunity to connect in a relaxed environment, while learning more about better business practices or issues facing the Garland community. Events are held four times a year at The Atrium from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    • Women's Business E-nitiative

      Each Chamber member receives one free seat to the upcoming WBe event upon joining. The program’s leadership is dedicated to inviting speakers who have demonstrated excellence in their chosen fields, all of whom can relate to the obstacles and opportunities of being a woman in the business world. Networking at the events also offers the opportunity to expand business connections and explore potential partnerships.

      The Chamber offers Notary Services, FREE of charge to its members. There is a $6.00 cost, per page for non-members. A Notary Public is a public servant appointed by state government to witness the signing of important documents and administer oaths. You must present a current identification document or card with a photograph, physical description and signature to have a document notarized.       The partnership is a non-profit organization that is primarily responsible for facilitating the addition and retention of more than $1.5 billion in new commercial tax base and more than 16,000 jobs since 1995.
