Membership Levels

The Garland Chamber has established relationships with government, elected officials, and city departments, including, but not limited to transportation, GP&L, permits, etc. When a business has an issue or doesn’t know who to talk to for the answers it needs, the Chamber can help.

As the voice of business, the Chamber’s purpose is to create and sustain a competitive advantage for businesses in Garland. It is our goal to be the local advocate to protect the interest of business and advance the quality of life of the community.

The Garland Chamber only refers member companies when there is an inquiry or request for information on products, services or vendors.

As a member of the Garland Chamber, we can help promote your event and invite community leaders to your open house/groundbreaking event. Exclusively for new businesses opening in Garland.

All members are entitled to one free membership list each year by request. The list may be used to identify new businesses, make connections and/or send event invitations.

All members are invited to Direct Connect Networking. This event offers the opportunity to expand your business connections and explore potential partnerships.

Garland Chamber members at any level are granted permission to use the Garland Chamber of Commerce logo on business marketing materials, including newsletters, email communications, flyers, etc. Contact the Chamber directly to request the necessary files.

Members have the exclusive opportunity to advertise upcoming events/promotions on the Chamber website.

In an effort to assist local employers find qualified candidates, members can share job opportunities in the Garland Chamber Newsletter.

Each new member receives complimentary advertising on the Chamber website upon joining. The number of months depends on the membership level selected. Members must submit a logo or photo, a website link, and a brief sentence about the company to appear as a “Featured Member” ad that will be rotated throughout the site. One-time use during first year of membership.

The Garland Chamber offers resources and connections to help create the conditions and means to attract and retain a highly-skilled workforce.

In partnership with the Dallas College Garland Campus, a training program, is available to manufacturers interested in bringing plant employees into supervisory roles and developing their skills.

The Garland Chamber offers the use of the Chamber meeting room. Meeting space can be used for one-on-one meetings, business/staff meetings, and training seminars. The meeting room accommodates up to 12 people comfortably. Call for availability. Frequency of use is dependent on membership level selected.

The Garland Chamber has an active group of committees that meet regularly to vet new ideas, assist with the facilitation of Chamber programs and events, and materialize the organization’s mission into action.

Access to Garland Hispanic Business Association (GHBA) events designed for Spanish-speaking business owners.

Participate in Small Business Roundtables to share challenges, exchange ideas, and build connections with fellow entrepreneurs.

As a member of the chamber, you are eligible to participate or have your business sponsor a session in this prestigious program. Leadership Garland provides corporate leadership training, motivates and encourages civic leaders, and develops personal leadership characteristics and skills within individuals.

Premium level members and above receive one free Manufacturers’ listing at no additional cost. The list will be emailed in Excel format upon request.

Premium level members and above receive a membership plaque to display in the member’s place of business. This display gives the business credibility and shows support of the community.

For Garland manufacturers needing to export, they can get certificates validated (stamped) by the Chamber at no extra charge.

By participating in FAME you will be a powerful conduit between industry and education. The purpose of the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) is to be the driving force for developing world-class technical talent for manufacturing and other employers of technical workers.

Premium-level members and above can request personalized support from Chamber staff to connect with specific individuals at upcoming business events. Prior to the event, members collaborate with the Chamber team to identify key contacts they’d like to meet, allowing us to facilitate warm introductions and meaningful conversations during the event.

Premium level and above members may provide a flyer or brochure to be included in all new member packets.

Premium level and above members are invited send (1) representative from their company to these manufacturing events.

Investor and Catalyst level members receive tickets to attend Signature and Women’s Business E-nitative Luncheons. Ticket quantity is dependent on the level of membership selected.

Investor and Catalyst level manufacturing members are eligible to serve on the Dallas County Manufacturing Association Committee.

Investor and Catalyst level members have the opportunity to schedule a one-on-one meeting with the Mayor of Garland, the Garland Chamber CEO, the City Manager, and the GISD Superintendent to discuss economic development activities and business needs or concerns. Chamber staff will assist in the connection.

Investor and Catalyst level members have chosen to join hands with the City of Garland and the Garland Independent School District in the never-ending task of enhancing the community of Garland through quality growth and retention. These distinguished business members are invited to community engagement meetings for input.

Investor and Catalyst level members receive industry-specific information and resources in the area of workforce and small business. We encourage you to reach out to Chamber staff.

The Dallas College Garland Campus offers two meeting rooms and a beautiful Gallery area with a great view. The two meeting rooms may be used separately or can be combined to accommodate larger meetings. Investor and Catalyst level receive special pricing for the use of the facilities.

Once a year, Premium level members and above have the opportunity to select companies with whom they would like to connect. Business members work with the Chamber staff to draft a letter, which is placed on Chamber letterhead and mailed to selected contacts. The quantity of letters depends on the level of membership selected.

Catalysts are invited send (2) representatives from their company to these manufacturing events.

Investor and Catalyst level members receive tickets to attend Signature and Women’s Business E-nitative Luncheons. Ticket quantity is dependent on the level of membership selected.

A business representative from your business will be nominated to have a seat as a Board member of the Garland Chamber.
