Your Chamber Taking Precautions with COVID-19
With emerging news about the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the U.S., the Garland Chamber has postponed large events scheduled through the end of April. Even smaller meetings are being migrated to virtual approaches, and we expect that to be the practice for the next couple of months at the least. We are hearing from local businesses and surrounding communities who are asking employees to work from home; limiting participation in any meeting or event where exposure risk might be heightened; banning travel; and generally exercising an abundance of well-considered caution.
The Business Expo is rescheduled for June 5. If you have registered your booth, Liza Ceniceros will contact you with updates. For more updates, please follow us on social media and check the Garland Chamber website.
The Candidates Forum is currently scheduled for April 15. This event will be cancelled. You can find continuous updates on the Garland Chamber website. Registered attendees will be refunded in April. For refunds, contact Karina Olivares.
