The Legislative Affairs team monitors current legislation and initiatives at the state and local level, keeping an eye on any proposals the could impact our community and economy. In partnership with Chamber members, we prepare responses that advocate for member needs and perspectives. This is a non-partisan effort; we do not endorse neither political parties nor candidates for public office.

If there is a particular issue or piece of legislation for which you or your business would like to request the advocacy of the Garland Chamber, please notify our staff.
